Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel in the Chungking Mansions. The location can be a bit intimidating with all the distractions on the ground floor, but once I made it to my room, it was clean and newly furnished. The staff was a bit hit or miss; I encountered some rude behavior which was quite disappointing. However, the Wi-Fi worked well, and for budget travelers, the price is definitely attractive.
I had an unexpectedly decent experience at this hostel located in the notorious Chung King Mansions. The room was clean and recently renovated, with good amenities. However, the lobby area was chaotic and a bit off-putting, which might discourage some travelers. The setup seemed a bit dodgy at times, especially with the need to navigate through the building, but if you're cautious and follow the hostel’s directions, it can be manageable.
My stay at this hostel in the Chungking Mansion was quite an experience, to say the least. The location is extremely central, making it easy to get around. The room was small but clean, and I was pleasantly surprised by the Wi-Fi and free water. However, the overall service left much to be desired, and the chaotic lobby was a bit overwhelming. The price was unbeatable for what it offered, but you should prepare for a bit of a rough ride in getting there.
My experience at this hotel was downright frustrating. Initially, we thought we found a decent place for our last night, only to endure a chaotic check-in process with unhelpful staff. The location in the Chungking Mansions is overwhelming, but the room itself was clean. However, the stress of the check-in situation seriously dampened our stay. I'd advise others to look for better options if they're visiting Hong Kong.
My experience at this hotel was far from pleasant. While the location in Chungking Mansions gave me access to the heart of Kowloon, the overall environment felt unsafe and unwelcoming. The service was shockingly poor, with unhelpful staff and long wait times. The rooms were cramped and did not match the photos shown in the booking site. Although it was affordable, the overwhelming negatives made it a questionable value.
